Prof. Dr. Neeru Nakra has a long experience of teaching law for almost 21 years now. She has been a student of Delhi University throughout and has taught at the Law Centre I and Campus Law Centre (Faculty of Law, Delhi University) for almost eight years. She has been visiting faculty to Law Centre I and Law Centre II (DU) and LL.M. (Weekend Course), GGSIP University. Then her journey of disseminating knowledge started at VSLLS, Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (GGSIPU) in January, 2006.
She has taught a wide range of subjects. She has been awarded Doctoral degree on “Infringement of Trade Marks and Passing off Action in India: New Dimension of Trade Mark Law” . She has also done her refresher’s course from Indian Law Institute (UGC sponsored). Her area of interest is intellectual property rights but the issues relating to human rights are also close to her heart.
She has contributed several articles to the journals of national repute and presented papers in national and international conferences apart from authoring three books. Apart from this, she has delivered lectures as a resource person in various organisations, viz; L.N.J.N. Institute of Criminology and Forensic Sciences, Kanahiya Lal D.A.V. Post Graduate College, Roorkee, WIPO Summer School, Indian Society of International Law (ISIL), Legal Aid Counsels at Rohini District Courts.
