Vidhi Madaan Chadda
Dr. Vidhi Madaan Chadda, joined Vivekananda School of Law and Legal Studies as Assistant Professor. She earned B.Com (H), LL.B. from University of Delhi and LLM (Corporate Laws) from USLLS, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. She is an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India since 2009. She has completed Ph.D. in the area of Competition Law from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi.
She specializes in the areas of Corporate Laws, Competition Law, Investment Law, Tax Law and Corporate Taxation.
She is a resource person for a number of government and non-governmental institutions like National Training Academy, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Northern India Regional Council - Institute of Company Secretaries of India and other regional chapters of ICSI.
She has presented her research at over a dozen national and international conferences and seminars. She has authored a book titled ‘Law and Procedures under National Company Law Tribunal and National Company Law Appellate Tribunal’ published by Wolter Kluwers CCH (currently running in its 2nd ed.). She has been invited to judge various moot court competitions and co-chair sessions at conferences.
She was awarded an ‘Appreciation Award for Honorary Services’ by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India in 2011 and Best Teacher Award of the law school in 2016.
She is the convenor of Dispute Resolution and Client Counselling Committee at Vivekananda School of Law and Legal Studies.
